Modern Job Hunting

Many young people with university or college degrees are are looking for jobs but there is a very important concern for them all which is the economic situation, meaning that the recession. The question should be how many job seekers are applying for the job I am after rather than how many jobs are available!
The world is changing and so with it are job hunting methods. Classical job searching is no longer going to get you the job you want. So what was the way to find jobs before and what is the right way now? Going online and registering yourself to major job boards may just not be enough anymore.
Today social communication sites are very effective such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn and many more... As we see from the news, Facebook and Twitter are even pulling down the governments, bringing together young people to revolt against the dictators in the middle-east? Can't these social networking sites find you a job?
Everything is changed and still changing. Old fashioned CV's are very outdated and in certain roles being replaced with video-CVs, audio-CVs and LinkedIn pages.
If you don't want to be left behind in this new career technology its best to check the latest improvements and try to adjust your style to suit them. Naturally this wouldn't be very easy for those who are 30-35 years or older, but the internet is now widely in our lives so there is no way to avoid it. Saying this there are are many people in the UK which are not even able to use computers, let alone the internet!
In this article we used many words that are very newly born in last 5 years such as Twitter, Facebook, video CV, LinkedIn etc, and who knows what more we will have in next 5 years!
